No. We do not want a formal business plan at this stage. We want honest answers to simple questions. If the conversation develops, we may ask for more detail — but the application form is designed to be straightforward for anyone.

Up to $100,000 per idea. In reality, many of the businesses we are most interested in may not need anything close to that. We work out what is actually needed together — and we deploy capital where it genuinely moves the needle, not just because it is available.

We are most interested in product and service businesses that can start generating real revenue within 12 months — food and beverage, health, consumer goods, e-commerce, skilled services, and similar. We are generally not suited to pure tech or app businesses that need years and multiple rounds of funding before they earn a dollar.

Queensland is our home base and where we have the strongest network and support capacity. We will consider strong applications from elsewhere in Australia, but our ability to be genuinely hands-on is strongest when you are local.

Genuinely involved — not just a name on a piece of paper. We do regular check-ins, help work through problems as they come up, and bring in the right people for specific needs like branding, marketing, systems, and e-commerce. Think of us as a working partner, not a distant investor.

Every application is read personally. If we see a potential fit, we will reach out within 5 business days to arrange a relaxed conversation — no pressure, no formal pitch required. If it is not the right fit, we will let you know respectfully. We do not ghost people.

Yes. If you have an existing business that needs capital and the right partner to grow it properly, we are interested in hearing about it. Tell us where you are, where you want to get to, and what has been holding you back.

No. This is not a loan and it is not a grant. Comma Capital invests in exchange for a stake in the business. The exact structure — including how and when you can buy that stake back — is discussed openly once we establish there is a genuine fit. We are not here to trap anyone. We are here to build something together.
